Abstract
-
Harris states that it was not Weichmann's testimony that convicted Mrs. Surratt, but the testimony of John M. Lloyd, another conspirator, and Payne's return to Surratt's house after his attack on Seward. He goes on to dispute several rumors about the conspiracy trial.
