Reed thanks Black for the five articles, and requests the rest, saying he will return the articlces after family members have read them. He informs Black that his pamphlet will only be published if Dr. Clarence True Wilson publishes his book. He discusses Bates' book and the mummy claimed to be Booth's, and encourages Black to publish a book.
