Commentary: A new adult novel of the torments and temptations of abnormal desires.
The story of the relationship of a 40 yr old man who has felt the bottom after his lover of 15 years leaves him. After drinking for 2 years he starts a new life with these individuals: Hermie--a Negro who offers companionship; Gus--a blond Greek who he loves; DeGrea, a South American who really loves him as is similar in aristocratic beauty. Excellently written. Very good plot and extremely fast reading.
"Bitter novel on homosexual scene in New York"
